But the folks we trust to make decisions for our families will never feel the consequences like we do. They’re more concerned with watching the stock market, lining their own pockets, and pleasing corporate donors.
Work doesn’t pay what it used to. Health care costs more and delivers less. Rent is going up endlessly, and families are stretched too thin.
We need an economy where workers have leverage
And we need a country in which federal agents can’t smash car windows, break into houses, and kill our neighbors in the streets of our community.
